Financial Controller

As a Financial Controller, you will join the Accounting and Finance team and will be involved in financial management, including but not limited to financial reporting and forecast preparation, internal control implementation, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

Financial analysis & Reporting

• As part of the Finance team, be responsible for timely and accurate financial, accounting, regulatory and tax reporting
• Assist the FD with any ad-hoc financial projects/issues that may arise
• Undertake the annual audit process with the external auditors, including financial statements and audit schedules
• Liaise with Bankers, Government officials and auditors for the smooth operation of the entity

Internal Controls

• Assist with updating internal accounting procedures
• Ensure internal controls issues are identified, take the necessary action to resolve issues and follow-up, and update internal control manual if needed

Reconciliation

• Be responsible for daily card transactions reconciliation with the card service providers

• Be responsible for reconciliation for the clients’ records/EMI

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, etc.)
• Over 5 years of experience in a similar position in a multinational company or equivalent
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Very good knowledge of SAP accounting software and Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
