Senior Project Engineer

As our new Senior Project Engineer, you will lead the management of capital and revenue projects, ensuring compliance with HSE, finance, and business requirements. Your expertise will be the driving force behind seamless project and programme management, as well as design service oversight, ensuring quality, security, and effectiveness.

• Interpret relevant engineering legislation and guidance, and develop company standards, specifications, and guidelines.
• Oversee design office and project management process development, including management of design contractors.
• Set project success criteria and execution strategies to meet objectives.
• Develop relationships with site personnel to ensure commitment, anticipate challenges, and minimize production disruptions.
• Manage capital and revenue programmes, projects, and portfolios, engaging stakeholders to meet business and finance needs.
• Lead project scope development, translate scope into engineering definition packages, and secure approvals.
• Engage resources for design, construction, procurement, and commissioning.

Requirements

• Mechanical or C/E engineering background in chemical manufacturing or similar industry.
• Project engineering experience across the project lifecycle.
• Expertise in project management, capital sanctioning, and financial control systems.
• Knowledge of engineering legislation, standards, and specifications.
• Design office and project management process development experience.
• Contractor and supplier management, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills.
• Relevant technical education and professional qualifications.
