Product Lifecycle Engineer

Who are you?
As Product Lifecycle Engineer (PLE) you will be responsible to support our highly efficient Engineering Lifecycle Team (ELT) with an overall goal to secure our running range lifecycle maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement. Being an entry point to engineering function within IKEA of Sweden, it’s helps you to understand the different roles withing the function and build competence in all, to help you choose and steer your next step.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

• Product lifecycle maintenance, meaning secure that the product documentation is compliant, up-to-date, and according to IKEA guidelines and standards. A well as find and act on gaps in the product documentation.
• Contribute to secure that our products are legally compliant in all markets throughout the product lifecycle.
• Responsible to perform moderate changes on products including technical requirements, labels & markings, construction drawings, packaging solution updates/improves, etc.
