ANA is headquartered in Henderson, Nevada with locations in Cypress, California and Spartanburg, South Carolina. ANA is growing and scaling and we are seeking an Inventory Control Manager to join our growing team in an onsite position in Henderson, Nevada.

As the Inventory Control Manager at ANA, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing inventory management across all three plants—Henderson, NV; Cypress, CA; and Spartanburg, SC. This position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our ERP System (Microsoft Business Central), directly impacting the company’s financial health, operational processes, and planning strategies. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels, driving process improvements, and supporting financial goals through meticulous inventory control and strategic collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your leadership will be key in managing day-to-day operations, resolving inventory issues, and implementing best practices to support ANA’s growth and success.

The position is fully onsite, and the work schedule is weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with required travel to other plant locations. This role reports to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to inventory control supervisors across all three locations. Set clear performance expectations, manage performance issues, and deliver regular, constructive feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals. Foster a positive work environment that encourages team collaboration and professional development. Identify training and development needs, ensuring supervisors and their teams have the necessary resources and opportunities to enhance their skills and effectiveness. Act as a role model in promoting ANA's core values and driving a culture of continuous improvement and excellence
  • Inventory Accuracy: Oversee and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all inventory transactions across the three plants. This includes managing the receiving process, tracking the movement of materials during assembly, and overseeing the shipping closure of assembly orders. Promptly investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and maintain high standards of inventory integrity
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the liquidation of inventory, ensure effective racking processes, and enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles. Manage the daily workload, set priorities, and drive team performance
  • Cost Management: Monitor and control inventory costs with a focus on achieving high turnover rates and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Drive initiatives to minimize excess stock while ensuring adequate safety stock levels to support operational flexibility. Analyze valuation reports by site to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and develop strategies to enhance inventory efficiency and financial performance
  • Process Improvement: Actively support and contribute to the Material Review Board (MRB) process by identifying and managing obsolete and slow-moving inventory. Continuously evaluate inventory control processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations and reduce waste, ensuring alignment with ANA’s strategic goals
  • Audit and Reporting: Assist with annual audit-related tasks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Support and oversee daily cycle counts and annual physical inventory processes at assigned locations. Generate and publish comprehensive weekly and monthly reports on inventory metrics, providing insights and actionable recommendations to improve inventory management and operational performance
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Planning, Purchasing, Finance, Logistics, and IT departments to fulfill daily operational requirements and support strategic planning processes. Collaborate on S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) to achieve financial goals and ensure seamless coordination across departments. Address and resolve any cross-functional issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Planning, Finance, or Inventory Control with a product-based ERP system
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control processes, metrics (FIFO, DIO, JIT, BOM), and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Business Central)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Look-up functions), Word, and Outlook
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
  • Understanding of Lean principles, including 5S and process control. Ability to analyze large datasets and apply conceptual, analytical, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time

$80,000 - $90,000 a year

The salary range for this role is $80,000 – 90,000 per year, which serves as a guide for pay decisions. Final compensation will be determined by a of factors, such as candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills, as well as pay equity considerations.
