CEI Construction Engineer II

AECOM is seeking a CEI Construction Engineer II to be based in Austin, Texas.

• Under general supervision, performs routine duties.
• Displays knowledge and abilities to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to meet basic engineering and construction specifications.
• Displays applications of sound professional judgment on details of work.
• Independently performs walk-downs and inspections of installed commodities to assure conformance with specifications and design.
• Performs quantity surveys for tracking and reporting.
• Works at the project site to assure contractor adherence to specifications and quality standards

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• BA/BS + 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
• Driving is required for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• TXDot Experience
• Highway construction experience
• 2+ years of related experience in roadway/bridge and rail experience
