Senior Java Developer

About us

Our Team is responsible for Customers' end-to-end onboarding and lifecycle to the Creditea APP: including general APP maintenance, onboarding with KYC, Creditline management, developing payment services and integration with Mastercard network, expanding to new geographic markets, as well as creating user-friendly solutions for all the services Customers can use from the Creditea APP.

Any initial challenges will be offset by a supportive, hard-working team that manages to keep a relaxed atmosphere on all the inside meetings while maintaining a professional front while communicating with the wider community of IPF Digital employees.

We follow the scrum framework to plan track and deliver our tasks as well as to evaluate our work at the end of the sprint and come up with ideas to better the quality of our work.

Currently, the team consists of 4 developers and 2 testers cooperating with a Scrum master, a product owner and business analysts.

So, what skills, knowledge and experience do you have?

• A senior skill in a development team
• Supports Business Stakeholder(s) and Product Owners for technical aspects of requests/delivery
• Can explain technical things in plain English to Product Owners (and Business Stakeholders)
• Innovation embedded in the daily routine
• Verifies with Architecture that the approach is aligned and approved (New components/processes)
• Participates in the daily work with developers
• Deep knowledge of business processes and requirements
• Work closely with the Java Competence Lead and other Tech Leads to improve processes and make them effective as possible
• Promote operational excellence
• Do some administrative work with team members
• Pro-active attitude with willingness to learn new things in good manners
• Performing technical interviews

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Java experience (Fintech industry experience is a plus),
• Experience in clean REST API design,
• Deep Java and Spring framework knowledge,
• Knowledge of SQL,
• Strong problem-solving skills,
• Very good Level of English,
• Knowledge of architectural design patterns
• Hands on DDD or Hexagonal architecture experience is a plus
• Experience in decoupling Monolithic applications is a plus
• Hands-on Technical Leader experience is a plus.
