Summary

PosiGen seeks a highly analytical and detail-oriented Human Resources Analyst to play a key role in shaping our compensation strategy and fostering a rewarding work environment. This individual will leverage their expertise to design, implement, and manage compensation programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring alignment with company objectives and compliance with all applicable regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of HR metrics, including headcount and attrition trends, and is passionate about contributing to PosiGen's mission of Solar for ALL.

Essential Job Functions

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct regular analysis of compensation data, including headcount trends, tenure attrition metrics, and salary survey data, to identify trends, assess program effectiveness, and recommend data-driven improvements.
  • Compensation Program Management: Design, implement, and administer competitive compensation programs, including base pay, incentive plans, and benefits, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Policy and Compliance: Stay informed of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations, ensuring company compliance and providing guidance to corporate staff on policy interpretation and pay decisions.
  • Job Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive job evaluations to determine appropriate salary grades and ensure internal equity across positions. Evaluate job roles for appropriate FLSA classifications and provide recommendations when appropriate.
  • Performance Management Support: Collaborate with HR team members and Business Leaders to align compensation programs with performance management initiatives, recognizing and rewarding high-performing employees.
  • General HR Responsibilities: Assist with various HR functions, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS data management, as needed and assigned by leadership.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Compensation Expertise: In-depth knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in interpreting and presenting complex data. Ability to model data based on proposed plans.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and experience with HRIS systems. ADP experience is preferred.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, human resources, or related field and six years of progressively responsible experience in relative fields.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
  • Certified compensation professional credentials are preferred.

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs for short periods of time.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
