Titan Private Wealth our investment management arm, recently rebranded from Cardale, founded in 2003 and based in Harrogate.

This is maternity cover for a minimum of 6 months. The suitable person will have previous accounting experience, strong excel skills and will report to the Operations Manager. Understanding of CASS regulations is advantageous but not essential as training will be given.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the processing of client and office interest.
  • Assisting with the conducting suspense account reconciliations.
  • Assisting with the calculating and processing client account closing fees.
  • Assisting with required audits – including collating samples walkthroughs of relevant processes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
  • Support wider finance and operations team on BAU tasks such as; creation of purchase orders, liaison with finance team for any new suppliers, communicating with relevant suppliers to process invoicing or payment queries.
  • Following up with managers to obtain approvals in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the bank reconciliation process ensuring reconciling items are being addressed daily.
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge of company procedures and policies and completing compliance training in a timely manner.
  • Any other duties in line with the level and scope of this role.

Job Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a Finance or similar role.
  • High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills and accuracy.
  • Must have gained GCSE Grade 4 or above in English and Maths and a Further Education qualification e.g. A-levels (or equivalent) in any subjects.
  • Inquisitive and a problem-solver with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong Excel skills utilising pivot tables, vlookup etc.
  • Proven ability to work within a team and on your own.
  • Previous administration experience preferable.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively across different teams.
  • Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • Willingness to learn and develop as the company grows.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience of working in fast paced environment.
  • Comfortable with change.
