Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking an outstanding postdoctoral fellow with bioengineering background at the Terasaki Institute for Biomedical Innovation (TIBI). The candidate will embark on developing pioneering micro-organoid and organ-on-a-chip technology to improve ongoing precision medicine clinical trials, under the guidance of the Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Xiling Shen and the Director of Precision Medicine Dr. Zhaohui Wang. TIBI's mission revolves around personalized diagnostics and therapeutics, collaborating closely with clinicians, biotech companies, and pharmaceutical partners to transform patient care. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, biologists, data scientists, and physicians to establish a cutting-edge precision medicine platform. **Qualifications:**

- Ph.D. in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.

- Preferably experienced in engineering techniques related to organoid research, such as microfluidics, biomaterials, or organ-on-a-chip.

- Proficient in data analysis, programming, and statistical tools.

- Collaborative mindset and ability to excel in interdisciplinary teams.

- Strong communication skills and dedication to promoting diversity.

**Responsibilities:**

- Develop innovative engineering approaches to enhance organoid culture and its diverse applications.

- Integrate advanced imaging and leverage machine learning techniques for comprehensive organoid characterization.

- Utilize data analysis tools to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.

- Collaborate closely with biologists and clinicians to apply engineering strategies to intricate biological challenges.

- Present research findings at conferences and contribute to high-impact scientific publications.
