Your role at Clorox:

Clorox Company is a dynamic and growing organization, and we are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our Corporate Accounting Group. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our US operations by playing a pivotal role in monthly and quarterly close activities in accordance with U.S. GAAP standards

In this role, you will:

• Execute and oversee the timely completion of monthly and quarterly close responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
• Conduct thorough Balance Sheet account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Drive efficiency enhancements within the Corporate Accounting Group
• Support and actively contribute to special projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

What we look for:

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field..
• 3-4 years of experience in Accounting.

Skills:

• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
• Good analytical accounting skills.
• Fluent verbal and written English skills.
• Ability to prioritize and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross-functional partners.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• SAP knowledge preferred.
