The Business Central ERP Support Lead will be responsible for overseeing the support and maintenance of the Business Central ERP system. This role is crucial in ensuring the system's optimal performance and reliability, providing essential support to business operations within the cloud environment.

  • Lead the support team for Business Central ERP, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality support services.
  • Project Implementation: Responsible for the successful rollout and ongoing support of the Business Central ERP project, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to business operations. This includes managing project timelines, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and providing training and support to users for an effective adoption of the new system.
  • Manage and resolve complex system issues impacting business operations, specifically within the Business Central environment.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrade schedules for the Business Central ERP system to ensure it is up-to-date and secure.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure the ERP system aligns with business needs, particularly focusing on cloud-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Business Central ERP system processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing their understanding and efficient use of the Business Central ERP system.
  • Monitor system performance, generating reports and recommendations for improvements within the Business Central framework.
  • Liaise with Microsoft and other vendors for issue resolution and system enhancements related to Business Central.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to cloud-based ERP systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in supporting and maintaining Business Central or similar cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of Business Central modules, system integration, and database management within a cloud environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a cloud-based system context.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing a support team for cloud-based solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on cloud-based system support.

Desirable:

  • Certifications in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar cloud-based ERP systems.
  • Experience in project management and process improvement methodologies within a cloud-based ERP context.
