Fullstack Developer

Please note this is a 12 month Fixed Term contract.

As a Software (Full stack) Developer you will be responsible for building modern digital experience for our customers. The person filling this position is expected to work smoothly with peers across solutions delivery. They are required to translate business requirements into high quality, technical solutions whilst contributing to the culture of continuous innovation within the team.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage and develop solutions within the team
• Ensure design is appropriately documented, stored and indexed
• Ensure all work completed conforms to established programming standards and procedures
• Ensure appropriate documentation of builds is completed in a satisfactory manner
• Assist the Product Owners and Delivery Managers as required in ensuring all work is delivered in an appropriate and effective manner
• Guidance of colleagues and other developers to ensure delivery aligns to specified functional and non-functional requirements

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Extensive experience in developing robust back-end APIs using ASP.Net Core.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies.
• Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies.
• Proficiency in automated code testing and analysis tools.
• Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
• Proficiency in spoken and written business English.
• Experience collaborating with remote and distributed teams.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Services).
• Knowledge of automated monitoring and alerting in cloud environments.
• Experience with DevOps activities and production issue escalation.
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and Cosmos DB.
• Experience with TDD, Unit testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with React, Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools like Confluence, Jira, and Slack.
