DSI Systems Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for Business Development Representative.

In this role, youโ€™ll focus on fostering partner relationships and driving lead generation through active participation in industry events, effective partner engagement, and strategic business development efforts. Responsibilities include managing lead processes, analyzing performance metrics, developing incentive programs, and continuously improving business strategies to maximize partnership success.

Remote, work-from-home opportunity with up to 40% travel required.

Responsibilities

Event and Roadshow Participation:

  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and roadshows as a representative of the company and/or DIRECTV
  • Attend Partner Sponsorships

Partner Engagement:

  • Visit existing partners to foster relationships and identify opportunities for increased lead generation and engagement

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate regular reports for partners detailing lead performance and conversion metrics
  • Analyze partner data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Work with partners to implement strategies for maximizing lead generation and conversion rates
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on partnership sponsorship budget utilization, expenses, and performance metrics

Lead Management:

  • Monitor lead status and progress to ensure timely follow-up and resolution
  • Identify areas for improvement in lead management processes and recommend solutions
  • Coordinate with sales teams to track lead progress and provide support as needed
  • Coordinate communication regarding lead status and oversee all follow-up actions through partner emails for updates on lead status
  • Add or input leads as required for partners

Business Development Strategy:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive partner engagement and lead generation
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and market segments for expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing materials and resources to support business development efforts

Agent Incentives and Tracking:

  • Develop and administer incentive programs for partner agents, including those from different NSP/ISP partners
  • Design incentive structures to motivate agent performance and drive desired behaviors sending leads to all channels, Commercial, L&I (Lodging & Institutions), and MDU (Multi-Dwelling Units)
  • Track agent performance and incentive eligibility, ensuring accurate and timely reward distribution

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and improve business development processes and strategies.
  • Proactively seek feedback from partners and stakeholders to enhance partnership effectiveness.
  • Additional responsibilities can be incorporated to accommodate the department's expansion and ensure optimal care for our partners

Requirements

  • Previous Sales Experience: Proven track record in sales or business development, preferably in the telecommunications or related industry
  • Event and Roadshow Participation: Experience representing a company at industry events, conferences, and roadshows
  • Strong Communication Skills/ High Energy: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with partners and presenting data
  • CRM Experience: Proficiency with CRM software, such as Zoho, to manage leads and track partner engagement
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and identify trends to drive decision-making and strategic improvements
  • Project Management Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for creating presentations and reports
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute business development strategies that align with company goals and drive partner engagement
  • Willingness to travel within the United States up to 40%
