What you'll be doing...

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Pricing and Strategy Analyst to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Performance. You will have a background in excel modelling (can maintain complex spreadsheets), SQL, and dynamic pricing strategies. Your role will involve analysing market trends, developing pricing models, and implementing strategic pricing initiatives to optimize revenue. You will partner with key stakeholders across Future to help deliver a step-change in our subscriptions pricing strategy and analysis.

  • Develop and maintain complex pricing models in Excel to support dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyse large datasets to inform pricing decisions.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, and sales, to implement pricing strategies.
  • Conduct financial analysis and economic assessments to support strategic decision-making.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. Finance or Economics).
  • 2+ years of experience working in a subscription-based business or in a management / financial consulting role with a focus on pricing.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
  • Experience with dynamic pricing models and strategies.
  • Commercially minded with an understanding of market dynamics and the organisation’s broader commercial and strategic goals.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • An acute understanding of subscription dynamics (e.g., customer acquisition and retention, churn analysis, lifetime value calculation).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Perform predictive analysis and modelling to help determine the impact of proposed scenarios
  • Familiarity with use of AI for pricing models
  • Experience or knowledge of CPQ implementation

The expected range for this role is £35,000 - £65,000

This is a Hybrid role from our Bath, Cardiff or London Office, working three days from the office, two from home
