We continue to expand our Finance organization and are now looking for a Global Operations Finance Director. This position reports into the VP Global Business controller and will be the finance business partner for the global operation sites.

Responsibilities As the Director of Operations Business Control, you will lead the financial oversight and strategic planning of our factories and laboratories across the globe. You will play a pivotal role in aligning financial objectives with business goals, driving quality & profitability. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of influencing decision-making at the senior level.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to set financial targets and long-term strategic goals.
  • Lead the development and management of budgets for the global operations departments, including standard costing.
  • Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize our industrial footprint.
  • Oversee the preparation of comprehensive financial reports and presentations for the executive team.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve financial performance of our operations locally and globally.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement advanced financial tools and systems to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as a key financial advisor to the operations leadership teams.

We think that you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial management roles, preferably in an Operations environment.
  • Fluent in English, verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.

This position is preferably located in our Gothenburg (Sweden) office but could be remote also.
