THE COMPANY: GUIDEWHEEL

Guidewheel is on a mission to empower all the world’s factories to reach sustainable peak performance. Inspired by the simple, universal truth that every machine on the factory floor has a power cord, our plug-and-play FactoryOps platform makes the power of the cloud accessible to any factory. Guidewheel clips onto any machine to turn its real-time “heartbeat” into a connected, actively learning system that empowers teams to reduce lost production time, increase throughput, and perform better and better over time.

At Guidewheel we work with the factories that are the backbone of our economy, and you can have a real, on-the-ground impact right away. We have strong momentum and alignment around our mission, investor support, and a culture that values diversity, growth mindset, and results. And the tight link between our mission and our business model means that reaching more of the world’s 10 million factories accelerates our positive impact on the planet.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Guidewheel is entering an exciting phase of growth and we need a strategic leader who can harness this momentum to scale our customer base and amplify our impact.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on creating something from scratch. You’ll be the first to step into this role, responsible for building our growth marketing function from the ground up.

You’ll start by developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy with a focus on customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and brand awareness. In this hands-on role, you’ll lay the foundation, leveraging data, running experiments, and optimizing across channels to drive results.

This is more than just a marketing role—it’s an opportunity to make a tangible difference. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team, helping to shape the direction of our company and directly contributing to our mission. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are excited by the challenge of scaling a company with a powerful vision, this role is for you.

What you’ll do:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to understand trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape. Use these insights to inform and adjust marketing strategies. Stay updated on industry developments to ensure marketing efforts remain relevant and effective.
  • Develop and Implement Strategy: Create and execute a comprehensive growth marketing strategy focused on driving customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue. Set clear objectives and milestones, and continuously refine the strategy based on performance metrics and market insights.
  • Campaign Management and Optimization: Design, launch, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital ads, email marketing, content, and social media. Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance campaign performance. Analyze marketing performance data to gain actionable insights, adjust strategies in real-time, and continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Events Planning and Execution: Develop and manage strategies for various types of events, such as webinars, conferences, and trade shows. Oversee all aspects of event planning, including logistics, budgeting, promotion, and post-event analysis. Evaluate event success and apply learnings to future events.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, customer success and revenue operations teams to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with broader company goals. Integrate feedback from these teams to enhance and adjust marketing initiatives. Facilitate smooth communication and cooperation across departments to drive effective marketing outcomes.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in growth marketing, with a proven track record in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful multi-channel marketing strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot etc.
  • Expertise in digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, and content marketing.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Grow with a team that believes developing talent is important, and is building that as a core strength of the company from day one. Be rewarded for excellent work.
  • Be a leader in the organization, leading the way for future hires and mentoring junior team members as they join.
