LastPass is looking for a BDR Manager:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic BDR Manager to lead our Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and drive the success of our outbound prospecting and outreach efforts. In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of BDRs, overseeing their activities, ensuring alignment with overall sales and marketing strategies, and driving cross/upsell initiatives. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing and executing outbound campaigns, enhancing team performance, and achieving growth targets.

Who will you work with?

Located in London, but a “remote first” role at LastPass, the BDR Manager will collaborate closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales leadership. You will be responsible for leading a team of BDRs, guiding them in generating high-quality leads, managing their performance, and ensuring effective communication with prospects. You’ll work alongside the Marketing team to strategize and implement outbound campaigns, and coordinate with Account Executives to drive successful cross/upsell activities. Your role will involve analyzing performance metrics, providing actionable insights, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team. The London team participates monthly in “office days” to get together, collaborate, and grow the business.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

As a BDR Manager at LastPass, you will tackle a range of exciting challenges, including:

  • Mentoring and managing a team of BDRs, providing guidance and support to drive their success and professional growth.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Collaborating with Sales and Marketing to design and execute outbound campaigns that align with overall business objectives.
  • Analyzing performance data to refine strategies and improve results.
  • Driving cross-sell and upsell activities within existing accounts by working closely with Account Executives.
  • Ensuring BDRs effectively engage with prospects and nurture relationships.
  • Monitoring and evaluating BDR performance, setting targets, providing feedback, and implementing best practices to achieve lead generation and conversion goals.
  • Engaging in cross-functional teamwork with Marketing, Sales, and other departments to ensure the success of centralized campaigns and strategic initiatives.

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Experience in a BDR role, with at least 2-3 years in a management or leadership position.
  • A proven track record in outbound prospecting and lead generation.
  • Strong skills in coaching and developing talent to achieve peak performance.
  • Ability to design and execute effective outbound campaigns and strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills for assessing performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey strategies and feedback to team members and collaborate across departments.
  • A high degree of business acumen to understand target personas, business challenges, and the value of LastPass products.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools is a plus, demonstrating your ability to manage and analyze customer data.
  • Proficiency in tools like Outreach to enhance your effectiveness in managing communication strategies.

It’s great, but not required:

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts is advantageous for understanding and communicating LastPass’s solutions effectively.
