Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be a part of our SRE and Cloud team consisting of Soded, Lalle and Patrik. You will step into a broad role with various fun things to start exploring and have the opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the stability and reliability of mission-critical services and systems that continuously process large data volumes every day. All this while working with cutting-edge technology and having opportunities for career growth.

Some examples of your daily work will be:

• Work with our cross-functional teams to design, implement, and monitor infrastructure and software solutions that support high availability and reliability of our services. This includes monitoring, updating, automating, and scaling in our cloud-based environment (AWS).
• Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to detect, prevent, and resolve infrastructure and software issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and mitigate potential reliability risks in the design and implementation of new features and services.
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies and tools to improve service reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation of service designs, configurations, and procedures.

So, who are you?

Ideal applicants have a genuine interest in optimizing solutions and have previous experience from a similar role within e.g. service reliability engineering, or systems administration/development. You'll understand the software development lifecycle and know cloud computing concepts. You are also a team player, who's constantly curious about learning new things.

Since our corporate language is English, you must have great communication skills in English.

You have some of the following skills and experiences:

• 3+ years experience with any major cloud provider (we use AWS and Azure for our different services)
• Observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, Datadog or similar
• Scripting in Linux environments
• Infrastructure as Code
• Configuration management/orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet or Saltstack (we use Saltstack)
• CI/CD (we use GitHub and Jenkins)
• Linux server administration
• Basic network understanding
