About the Role
This role is all about diving deep into the challenges faced by production teams, discovering exciting opportunities to streamline solutions and unify the tools used across the board. You'll be at the forefront, testing and deploying cutting-edge production management to enable reliable and efficient operation of Heirloom's carbon removal facilities. Collaborating closely with developers and production staff, you’ll lead the charge on standardizing solutions and consolidating tools used by production managers, shift supervisors, and operations/maintenance technicians to support production scheduling, monitoring, and alerting. By harnessing real-time data and feedback from the production floor, you'll drive continuous improvements that push performance to the next level. And, as a key player, you'll make strategic calls on technical complexity and timelines, while delivering a compelling product roadmap to stakeholders.

What you will bring
Along with your 6+ years of experience working in production or manufacturing environments, you've taken products from concept to launch and have a knack for building innovative software solutions that transform plant or facility operations. You’ll bring your expertise in production planning, performance monitoring, and cross-functional communication to deliver products that will facilitate the operation of carbon removing facilities. Hands-on experience with UX design, SCADA architectures, and software development will allow you to directly influence every aspect of the product. With a deep understanding of platform development lifecycles and production management tools, you’ll be driving complex projects to success. If you're a strong communicator, a curious, action-driven team player with a passion for problem-solving and innovation, you’ll thrive in this dynamic and fast-paced environment!

Physical Demand Description

The following requirements also apply to any roles which will spend any time working in our plants or construction sites (all technician and operations roles, most engineering roles, and many other roles):

• Ability to work in outdoor environments (example: hot sun, cold, wind, rain, crawl spaces, etc.). Stop work will be called when it is unsafe to work.
• Position may require working at heights including; climbing ladders/equipment, stairs, elevators, and working on scissor lifts.
• Capable of performing repetitive duties including; lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods of time.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools safely.
