Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeContributes to the creation and amendment of IT processes and documentations. Perform analysis and makes recommendation in areas that require high level technical competency. Uses network management tools to collect and report on network load and performance statistics. Contributes to the implementation of maintenance and installation work. Uses standard procedures and tools to carry out defined system backups, restoring data where necessary. Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution. Acts as peer support to the infrastructure team and point of contact to stakeholders, vendors and other IT Teams.
Strategy and Planning
- Executes and implements the IT team strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets
- Participate in all relevant meetings in order to share and develop strategy, knowledge and best practice
- Provides recommendations for the short to medium team plans for the team

Policy, Process and Procedures
- Drive the development and maintenance of QBE problem and incident management processes and procedures
- Managing the incident or problem in alignment with QBE IT processes and procedures
- Relevant processes and procedures are reviewed and updated as required

- Adherence to IT processes and procedures
Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
- Providing excellent customer service through daily customer interactions
- Updates and or modifies existing policies and processes applicable to the team
- Customers receive customer service in alignment with target SLAs
- Positive feedback from customers
Technical Performance
- Performing problem and incident management activities including receiving communications from customers from a variety of mediums, analysing, documenting and managing the incident or problem
- Problems and incidents are resolved within SLA timelines
People Management
