For our mobile development team, we are looking for a skilled software engineering professional who is specialized in the development of Android applications.

Role & Responsibilities

• You will work in an all-round devops team with Dev, Ops, UX and business colleagues to develop and maintain the ING Global Mobile Banking app.
• There are many teams (also in other countries), so you need to be proactive and communicate/collaborate where needed.
• The app (or feature) has to be quality controlled by fully automated tests for which the team is responsible as well.
• We work according to an Agile development process releasing a new version of the app every 2 weeks.

How to Succeed

• You are the Dev Engineer ING is looking for because you have:
• A minimal Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or comparable (HBO/Bachelor)
• 3+ years of working experience in software development, of which 2+ years on Android.
• Experience with Kotlin
• Knowledge of different testing strategies using Espresso tests, Unit tests and Screenshot tests.
• Experience in library development is good.
• A quality software development mindset and strong clean code skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Know how to write testable code and tests
