C Lead Developer

CSG's Converged Mediation R&D group, a part of the Ascendon organization, is adding to its server-side team in Brazil.

This team is responsible for maintaining and expanding CSG's online and offline mediation capability, directly at customer sites and in support of CSG’s cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform.

We are looking for a C Lead developer who will:

• You will report to a Manager Software Developer to contribute towards driving the development of modern software solutions for the global mobile telecommunications market.
• You will design, code, test, debug, document and maintain applications and application enhancements.
• Collaborate with other team members on application architecture design.
• You work well within a team environment using Agile methods

Is this opportunity right for you? We’re looking for candidates who:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as developer and working in C on a Unix-based production environment
• Proficiency in English in a business environment is a must
• An additional distinct advantage is experience is some of the following:
  • Experience with Red Hat Linux
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with network programming.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases (e.g. Oracle, Postgres).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker.
  • Software Revision tools such as git and Subversion.
  • Agile software development practices (SAFe, DevOps).
  • Troubleshooting and customer support.
