• you build and operate a custom built, innovative CMS for Axel Springer’s news and media brands
• you support the editorial team in optimizing their workflows to serve their content to over 38 million users in Germany
• you discuss and decide about architectural and technical challenges within our cross-functional team in an agile environment
• you stay up-to-date and work with a top-notch technology stack by using TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, tRPC, AWS, and modern testing frameworks
• you use modern web development techniques like micro frontends, web components and continuous deployment
• you utilize the benefits of a microservice architecture with full automation of our infrastructure and enjoy the fast pace of independent cross-functional teams

Requirements

passionate and talented developer with experience in web development

• you are proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript
• you have worked with a modern frontend framework/library such as React
• you are familiar with tRPC and/or REST APIs
• you can build, deploy and run your code in the cloud (ideally you already have experience with GitHub actions and AWS)
• you have a passion for programming and trying out new technologies
• you let your ideas and concepts flow into the continuous optimization and improvement of the products and evaluate the results
• you’re embracing a “you build it, you run it” mentality
