Senior Product Designer

Step into a pivotal role on our Design Team, where you'll have the autonomy and independence to elevate our design practice and build a world-class, multi-skilled design function. Our current design structure is agile and lightweight, and proactive, direct customer engagement is a core element of how we design products.

As a Senior Product Designer, you'll collaborate closely with our Product and Engineering teams, leveraging your expertise to solve complex problems and create impactful, accessible financial products. Your work will consistently deliver exceptional outcomes for customers, driving both innovation and usability.

Our global partners—including eBay, Worldpay, and Vagaro—will give your designs significant exposure, ensuring that your ideas shape the future of our ever-expanding and evolving product portfolio. You’ll bring your creative vision and seasoned experience, while we empower you to lead the way, working on opportunities that create meaningful impact within your product area.

What You’ll Bring:

• You thrive in environments that value autonomy and proactive problem-solving. • You have a proven track record of delivering high-impact products—ideally within fintech—backed by a portfolio that highlights your ability to solve real-world problems with thoughtful, customer-centric design. Your deep attention to detail and extensive web design experience have allowed you to create solutions that work for real people.
• You’ve successfully matured design teams and systems, enabling the growth of scalable design solutions. Your expertise lies in tackling complex design challenges, always keeping your eye on delivering seamless customer journeys.
• You thrive in lean team structures, where collaboration is second nature. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to share work early and often, while welcoming input from others to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• You’re relentlessly focused on outcomes, delivering at pace while collaborating with a multi-skilled team of designers, researchers, and copywriters. You have a knack for explaining the rationale behind your decisions, bringing the wider team along as you champion the best design solutions.

The Interview Process

1. Initial screening call with Chess (Internal Recruiter) – 30 minutes (these will take place W/C 30th September)
2. In-depth interview with the Product & Design team – 1 hour
3. Task-based interview with the Design Team – 90 minutes
