**The department

Operational Technology (OT) is a function within Global Engineering to support the production of diagnostic units for our patients. Our global team provides the integration between manufacturing and the enterprise with systems including MES, SAP, SCADA and cybersecurity; from development to support to lifecycle management.

**Your position

We are looking for you as an Application & Integration Engineer(m/w/d). As a team player with 5+ years of experience (preferred), you will assist in delivering internally and externally built systems.

**Your tasks

  • In collaboration with IT and business partners, you monitor and improve stakeholder and user experience to maximize utilization of OT applications and systems. You develop reports and other visualization techniques and analyse and interpret data to provide recommendations for process improvements
  • You gather user requirements process steps and translate them to system requirements
  • You provide technical support for OT applications to end users and key business users (1st and 2nd level on-call-support, occasionally outside standard business hours)
  • You work independently to learn and investigate solutions; while also capable of collaborating and learning from other team members
  • You work in local and global projects in the area of OT applications
  • You exchange technical information with employees from other sites and form a network.

**What you bring to the table

  • You gained your Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or equivalent

  • Knowledge of IT/OT solutions, operating systems, databases,manufacturing execution systems (MES), SAP (material management), computer programming, and/orISA95

  • Familiarity with laboratory data systems (LIMS) and quality analytics

  • Hands on experience in IIS, HTML, .NET, REST, API’s, and SQL programming and with tools (e.g. SonarQube) and (agile) software development methodologies for setting high-quality standards

  • You influence with knowledge of manufacturing process design, preferably with special purpose processes. You are familiar with SDLC, GMPand incident management

  • You use a detailed and analytically minded approach to problem solving

  • You can explain technical requirements and solutions to a broad range of stakeholders

  • You carry out assigned tasks independently, autonomously and conscientiously with a high degree of customer/service orientation

  • You are fluent in English and German
