About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fully Remote Data Analytics Engineer with expertise in either Top of the Funnel analysis or Competitor and Product Analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one of these domains, with extensive experience in data analysis, digital marketing, and e-commerce. As the company increasingly leverages data and Generative Artificial Intelligence to drive innovation and competitive advantage, this role is critical in helping optimize our marketing, product and pricing strategies. You will provide actionable insights that drive user engagement, growth, and product excellence by integrating advanced data analytics and AI-driven solutions into our business processes.

Responsibilities: (with a focus on one of the following domains)

Top of the Funnel Focus:

  • Lead the analysis of Top of the Funnel Focus activities across various digital channels, providing insights to drive user acquisition and engagement.
  • Manage and optimize event data pipelines from Google Analytics 4(GA4), RudderStack, and other sources into the data warehouse.
  • Design and debug GTM (Google Tag Manager) configurations to ensure accurate data collection and tracking.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and merchandising teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Utilize SQL and Python for in-depth data analysis, developing automated reports and dashboards.
  • Drive Generative AI projects focused on optimizing Top of the Funnel performance and user acquisition.
  • Implement and analyze A/B testing to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of marketing strategies.

Competitor and Product Analysis Focus:

  • Conduct in-depth competitive analysis using platforms like SimilarWeb, focusing on key areas such as promo optimization, pricing optimization, and product information optimization.
  • Perform pricing optimization analysis to identify opportunities for maximizing revenue and maintaining competitive pricing strategies.
  • Analyze product lifecycle data to identify trends and optimize product strategies, ensuring that products are launched, marketed, and retired effectively.
  • Manage and optimize event data pipelines from GA4, RudderStack, and other sources into the data warehouse.
  • Design and debug GTM (Google Tag Manager) configurations to ensure accurate data collection and tracking.
  • Implement A/B testing strategies to evaluate and improve product performance, promotions, and pricing strategies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in data analysis or data engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the e-commerce industry.
  • Strong business domain expertise in either Top of the Funnel or Competitor and Product Analysis is essential.
  • Extensive experience with event data, including working with Google Analytics4 (GA4) and RudderStack.
  • Strong experience with dbt and data modeling.
  • Deep knowledge of GTM (Google Tag Manager) configuration and debugging .
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, with the ability to write and optimize complex queries and scripts.
  • Experience with Generative AI projects or A/B testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Databricks, Looker, and dbt is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript and Next.js
  • Knowledge of basic Gen-AI technologies.
