So, what’s the role all about?

The Senior Cloud Network Engineer ensures 99.99% uptime for NICE’s public and private cloud network operations. This role requires expert knowledge in all areas of networking, including advanced routing with BGP and OSPF, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, Ethernet switching, VoIP, MPLS technologies, and more.

How will you make an impact?

• Serve as an internal consultant across business units, representing the Network team.
• Operate and support Carrier Grade Networks.
• Configure advanced routing protocols like OSPF and BGP.
• Manage and configure SSL and IPsec VPN technologies.
• Support and configure firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Engage in Incident, Problem, Service, and Change management.
• Lead technical projects as needed and provide on-call support.
• Communicate complex technical information to diverse audiences, including on-call support rotation.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of proven work experience in networking.
• Extensive knowledge of networking technologies, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.), and topologies.
• Expert-level experience with Palo Alto and F5 load balancers.
• Expert-level experience in network switching and routing.
• In-depth understanding of internetworking technologies and tools (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SNMP, Multicast, VRRP, HSRP, switching technologies)
• Significant OSPF and BGP design, implementation, and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with MPLS, authentication services (TACACS+, RADIUS, RSA), IPV6, SIP, and network management systems.
• Intermediate Visio skills for network diagrams.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Juniper and Arista devices management experience and certifications
