Your role at Clorox:

Clorox is seeking a data-driven sales professional with outstanding analytical, reporting, and forecasting expertise to support our Household Essentials (Cleaning & Glad) business at Walmart.
In this role, you will uncover key opportunities and challenges that will guide decision making for leadership.
This position offers significant visibility to Clorox leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Drive the Business: Create and update complex reports for Walmart, customer sales team, and sales planning counterparts. Independently, gather and interpret data to identify business drivers and opportunities.
  • Plan the Business: Support the customer team in building out proactive customer strategies. Own the fiscal year forecast using consumption data, Walmart inventory data, ordering patterns, seasonality, etc. to effectively detect headwinds/tailwinds to reaching targets.
  • Build Capability to Drive Growth and Eliminate Waste: Manage and create appropriate tools, processes, and reporting to drive efficiency for the customer team. Concisely and persuasively communicate insights with internal and external stakeholders.

What we look for:

Years & Type of Experience

  • CPG/Retail experience strongly preferred (Typically 3-5 years)
  • Prior Walmart sales/retail experience strongly preferred (+2 years)
  • Sales planning, account management, or other retailer customer experience beneficial
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Skills & Abilities

  • Systems Knowledge: Walmart Luminate and syndicated data experience (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, etc.).
  • Data Manipulation Skills: Familiarity with Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI or Tableau).
  • Predictive Analytics: Ability to use models and forecasting tools to predict sales trends and consumer behavior.
  • Presentation and Storytelling Skills: Expertise in turning data insights into compelling narratives that can influence decision making at all levels of the organization. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word required.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions in complex scenarios.

Hybrid - 3 days a week in Bentonville, AR Sales Office. Will also consider The Clorox Company Global Office (Oakland, CA) location.

We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.

–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900

–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400

–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
