As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of new automotive projects, ensuring they meet all technical and quality standards.

You will:

  • Develop and manage the master schedule and budget for new projects, including equipment timelines, line balancing, layout designs, and risk assessments.
  • Take full ownership of new project processes from cost feasibility and process design to manufacturing, assembly, automation, and final fine-tuning.
  • Analyze technical drawings and ensure compliance with global standards, quality requirements, and risk management.
  • Prepare detailed process plans and equipment specifications.
  • Identify and liaise with new suppliers and equipment manufacturers, manage quotations, negotiate terms, and track progress at each project stage.
  • Oversee the installation of processes in production plants and ensure smooth handover of all process documentation, meeting all KPIs.
  • Monitor all aspects of the process in terms of safety, cost, quality, efficiency, environment, ergonomics, logistics, carbon neutrality, and maintenance.
  • Report on project status to divisional management and continuously seek process optimizations, applying new technologies and methods to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Experience with process technologies such as Plastic Injection, Multi-Layered Lamination, Door Assembly, Headlining Assembly, and Adhesive/Pressure-based assembly is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is preferred.
  • A strong team player with a creative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A minimum of B2 level English proficiency.
  • A valid driving license (Category B).
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 25% of time).
