The BI&A Program Coordinator/Sr. Business Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of data-driven projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines. This role requires a strong knowledge and experience with business intelligence and analytics projects, data analysis and BI tools, and project management methodologies.

The BI&A Program Coordinator/Sr. Business Analyst will work with business teams and other stakeholders to gather information and requirements using techniques like interviews, work sessions, storyboarding, and prototyping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Elicit, analyze, document, and communicate business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories, use cases, and other functional requirement documents including, but not limited to data elements, report/dashboard mock-ups, gap analysis, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings and working session activities to identify project goals, schedules, impacted processes, and procedures to foster cooperation and collaboration from the project team.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, sprint retrospective).
  • Facilitate change management of requirements, determine schedule impacts, and manage a project log of risks, issues, and decisions.
  • Coordinate reviews and signoffs with stakeholders to ensure the documentation accurately portrays the business need including acceptance criteria. Conduct periodic process reviews to clarify and document work product.
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team of developers, architects, and QA to develop and break down requirements into manageable user stories.
  • Manage and ensure timelines throughout the project plan, including sprint cycles to ensure project milestones are met and products delivered within agreed-upon and acceptable time constraints.
  • Produce accurate and timely status reports on projects and initiatives.
  • Analyze and profile source data, develop and implement BI models, reports, and create data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Cognos and Power BI.

Qualifications:

  • CCBA, PMP, Agile/Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) certifications desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI or Cognos
  • Working knowledge of SQL, and SDLC for data warehouse, data lake and data discovery projects.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Systems Analyst delivering BI, reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Proven experience with Scrum/Agile projects. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, values, and practices, and use of project management and SDLC tools (e.g., DevOps, MS Project, Jira, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering for data, BI and reporting projects
  • 5+ years of experience in end-to-end project management
  • Able to run standups and sprint planning meetings, using Azure DevOps, so DevOps skills and knowledge of agile methodologies would be highly beneficial
  • IIBA qualifications and knowledge BEAM (or similar) methodologies would be nice to have

  • Working Time: India 2nd Shift till 11:30 PM IST / 2:00 AM EST or 12:30 AM IST / 3:00 AM EST
