The Sales Support Engineer will be part of the Sales & Service Team under the Customer Support Department. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Sales Support Engineer to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in assisting the sales team by providing technical support, developing proposals, preparing sales calculations, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Provide assistance in the preparation of sales quotations and tenders, including sales calculations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, diagrams, and system layouts.
- Ensure all technical aspects of proposals are accurate, comprehensive, and aligned with customer needs.
- Develop macros in Excel for automatic sales calculations and cost dispersion.
- Prepare spare parts quotations using SAP.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, technical requirements, and sales activities.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, proposals, and presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Track and report on sales support activities, customer feedback, and technical issues.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile estimations.
- Undertake any other assignments as allocated by the reporting supervisor/management.

Academic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical qualifications in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Physical Sciences
- Proven experience as a Sales Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, or in a similar support role
- Proficiency in using SAP software and other sales and technical support tools.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, advanced Excel, and excellent skills in Visual Basic
- Qualifications and experience in Information Technology, Networking, or PLC will be an added advantage.
