WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The SimCorp Dimension product was originally designed for running on-premises with clients, utilizing hardware resources being available 24/7. As we are moving our business model towards being a SaaS provider and based on Microsoft Azure, we need to re-implement our core platform to be efficient on dynamic Azure infrastructure and with a relentless focus on the cost of compute.

In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for identifying existing problems, solution options and drive the implementation and deployment.

The team is new, and you will be able to affect how the team is going to work. You will work closely with our teams within the Deployment area in other regions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

The Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and scaling infrastructure for Dev, Staging, UAT and Production. The successful candidate will join our excellent team of engineers who formulates solutions to the most intricate problems.

With the team this position will help to:

  • Improve CI/CD tools integration/operations, and full automation of CI/testing.
  • Develop, scale, and control strategies, standards, guidelines, governance of Continuous Integration systems.
  • Join the ongoing design, implementation, and preservation of systems and tools across the cloud stack.
  • Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality.
  • Write and maintain documentation infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot issues along the CI/CD pipeline

WHAT WE VALUE

We expect your skills and experience to include

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related fields • 3-5+ years of experience in CI/CD engineering experience with a different skillset
  • Vast working experience on SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Jira tools
  • Hands-on experience in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools.
  • Knowledge in installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring software security pipeline tools.
  • Experience managing devOps pipeline in Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of the Azure Cloud environment
  • Good experience working with Biceps scripts
  • Experience working with Azure b2c/b2b
  • Knowledge of supporting production level architecture running in azure
  • Support experience of Azure production environment
  • Develop automation test framework and test tools
  • Write and review testcases and test specifications.
