How You Will Contribute:

Reporting to Manager - IT Applications, as the Analyst, IT Applications, you will provide advanced level development and support of Oracle EBS RICE components. The ability to communicate with and support various internal customers is critical to the success of this position. As an important team member, you will be required to have self-initiative to take on development of enhancements, bug fixes and other efforts.

• You will be involved in enhancements/bug fixes in Oracle Applications integrations, interfaces, custom reporting, forms, and custom applications.
• You will be part of application development in Oracle EBS modules. (Supply Chain and Finance)
• You will also be working on Oracle SR documentation and information requirements as and when required.
• You will work with business service owners to gather requirements.
• You will convert business requirements into technical design documents, develop and implement the solution along with enhancements efforts from conception through deployment.
• You will be delivering solutions on-time and ensure satisfy internal customers.
• You will be participating in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.

The Must Haves:

• Must have minimum 4+ years of experience in Oracle EBS development.
• Experience in Oracle EBS R12 required, with strong preference given to those with R12.2.x experience.
• PL/SQL programming advanced skills and experience.
• Strong familiarity with Oracle EBS base tables and views in SCM and Finance modules is a must, Procurement, OM, Purchasing, Inventory, WMS, Shipping. Should be familiar with O2C and P2P cycles.
• Knowledge on Oracle Cloud Modules like OTM, GTM, BM & GOP would be preferred.
• Knowledge on Agile PLM, Demantra and Service Contracts will be preferred.
• Experience using Oracle EBS open interface APIs, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms Developer, Oracle workflow, XML Publisher, OAF will be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skills – including the use of written, electronic, and oral communication.
• Sound reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving aptitude; Detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Assets:

• Working experience in Agile methodology and Jira preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual pay range for this position in US is 69,000 - 110,200 USD.

The annual pay range for this position in Canada is 62,800 - 100,400 CAD.

Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.

Non-Sales employees may be eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus, while Sales employees may be eligible for a sales commission.
