As a Consultant Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the business development and the enhancement of sales of products, site inspections, technical intervention, and spare parts promotion to existing and new accounts and customers within the Middle Eastern/GCC area.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate business leads to new and existing customers through cold calling, site visits, and attendance at industry-related events
  • Identify customer needs and market opportunities
  • Introduce, promote and sell Munters FoodTech complete portfolio of products in accordance with company guideline
  • Go and meet our customers, spend time on the road, collect installed-base information, study competition and revert to headquarter with useful market insights.
  • Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how the products work and how to do appropriate maintenance
  • Work with Sales Support and Technical department to ensure the product/service offered meets the application needs.
  • Successfully help customers to solve problems from a technical perspective.
  • Technically support in negotiations of projects opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Solid technical background with understanding and hands-on experience with industrial equipment (experience in livestock farming and greenhouse would be a plus)
  • Proven experience as a Sales Engineer (3-5 years) or similar commercial experience
  • Proven experience or training to understand value solution selling is a plus
  • Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical Technical degree desired, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in the designated Region is a plus
  • Must be fluent in English and Arabic both spoken and written is a prerequisite for this position. Another language would be a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills and commercially savvy
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting relationships with key technical or mid-management decision makers
  • Business oriented and customer focused attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural differences
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

0thers:

Travel activity will be around 50%-60% per month in Middle East Region/GCC with possible extension to North Africa.
