Field Engineering Co-op

What your day might look like:

• Perform field checks on process equipment (flows, pH, conductivity, chemical residuals, etc.)
• Conduct wet testing in laboratory on water samples
• Actively monitor process equipment performance through online tools
• Assist in completing monthly reporting requirements
• Assist with chemical inventory order management
• Work with supervisors on plant equipment optimization opportunities

Requirements

Skill Requirements:

• Experience performing basic chemical tests such as titrations, pH & conductivity measurements, and using other simple chemistry lab instruments
• Basic mechanical skills to help troubleshoot chemical feed equipment
• Proficiency with computer-based tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)

Education:

• This role is best suited for anyone currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) program (Chemical, Environmental, Industrial, or Mechanical) or a Chemistry Bachelor of Science (BSc) program
• Consideration will also be given to other science-based technical programs and degrees
