Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in the game development industry.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Unreal Engine
  • Proven experience leading technical teams in game development, with a focus on Unreal Engine projects.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine.
  • Deep understanding of game design, development processes, and technical constraints.
  • Expertise in performance profiling, optimization, and debugging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce).

Main task pool:

  • Lead the development of game projects using Unreal Engine, ensuring high-quality and efficient production.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of core game systems and features.
  • Mentor and guide a team of Unreal Engine developers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Collaborate with designers, artists, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with creative goals.
  • Implement best practices for coding, architecture, and workflow to maintain project scalability and efficiency.
  • Optimize game performance through detailed profiling, debugging, and testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with Unreal Engine advancements and industry trends, integrating new technologies and techniques into the development process.
  • Participate in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Will be a plus:

  • Experience with other game engines (e.g., Unity).

  • Experience in multiplayer game development.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing and online services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Published titles demonstrating technical prowess and creativity.

  • Understanding of mobile and console game development.

  • Advanced mathematics or physics knowledge applicable to game development.
