Senior Fintech Solutions Engineer

Scope:

• Assisting Blue Yonder in its digital transformation by providing support towards continuous optimization of its financial systems.
• Core responsibilities to include the design, configuration, testing, and implementation of minor and major Workday Financials system enhancement & system changes
• Ensuring the integrity of financial systems are efficiently utilized, maintained and available throughout the extended organization
• • Provide critical thinking and problem-solving to support the Finance function at Blue Yonder

What you’ll do:

• Oracle ePBCS Administration
  • Lead the administration and configuration of Oracle ePBCS to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Manage user access, security settings, and system configurations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Reportings Requests
  • Collaborate with finance and business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables within Oracle ePBCS.
  • Develop and maintain a library of standardized reports, dashboards, and financial analyses to support decision-making processes.
• Dimension Creation
  • Oversee the creation, modification, and management of dimensions within Oracle ePBCS to align with evolving business needs and structures.
  • Implement best practices for dimension management to ensure data integrity and consistency across the system.
• Reconciliation of Financials
  • Lead efforts to reconcile financial data between Oracle ePBCS and other financial systems, including Workday Financials, Master Data Management (MDM) platforms etc.
  • Develop and execute reconciliation procedures to identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Actuals Integration
  • Manage the integration of actual financial data from various sources into Oracle ePBCS, including close processes and data feeds from enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of actuals data for reporting and analysis purposes.
• Forecast Budget Readiness/Support/Testing
  • Collaborate with finance teams to prepare and validate forecast and budget models within Oracle ePBCS.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on forecast and budgeting processes, including system functionality and best practices.
  • Conduct thorough testing of system enhancements, patches, and upgrades to ensure compatibility and minimize disruption to business operations.
• OCI Upgrades
  • Coordinate and execute upgrades and migrations of Oracle ePBCS instances hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Work closely with OCI administrators and technical teams to plan, test, and implement upgrades with minimal downtime and impact on users.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Oracle ePBCS administration, implementation, and support(mandatory)
• Experience with other Financial Applications such as Workday FMS is mandatory
• Strong understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes, as well as GAAP/IFRS principles.
• Proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and experience with OCI upgrades preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Oracle certifications in ePBCS or related areas are a plus
