About the role

As an Account Executive Touring you play a vital role in the running of touring accounts and are one of the main points of contacts with venues. You focus on the day-to-day delivery of client work to venues, and support the Account Manager, Account Director and Head of Touring in ensuring the agency is meeting the client’s and venues requirements. Working with the Account Managers and Account Directors you take responsibility for understanding the campaign deadlines, creative briefing, trafficking and supply. This is an administrative and creative role, requiring excellent organisation and communication skills.

From time to time you may be required to travel but sufficient notice will always be given. You are expected to initiate projects of your own and have sole responsibility for several tasks.

As the Account Executive Touring you report into the Account Director.

Requirements

Your Responsibilities:

Your specific role within the agency is detailed below. Aside from these you may also be required to assist across other areas of the agency.

  • Support the Account Manager/Director with efficient planning, coordination and communication of account activity both internally and to key client stakeholders
  • Take responsibility for account administration ensuring information, systems and filing are up to date across accounts
  • Manage deadlines across the account team, keeping track of briefing work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Be responsible for creative and website briefing, trafficking and supply including proof reading
  • Manage the production cycle including briefing, feedback, quote sign off by client, trafficking, and supply
  • Develop a strong understanding of each brand’s values and creative guidelines
  • Ensure all documents and client deliverables are consistent in quality and thoroughly proofread
  • Liaise with venues and co-ordinate the supply of their requirements, as well as discuss activity on a regular basis.
  • Create reports on the status of accounts on a regular basis
  • Manage internal documents like work-in-progress documents to aid the efficient running of every account
  • Manage organisation of meetings including agendas, preparation of reports and documents, setting up of calls, catering, technology, transport, and personnel required
  • Communicate meeting agendas and circulate relevant materials
  • Note take in meetings
  • Develop strong working relationships with key client stakeholders and venues to understand expectations and ensure these are met
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and training to develop own knowledge and skills
  • Ensure the team is kept up to date with updates and project progress
  • Manage the opening, and closing of jobs alongside Account Managers
  • Support the Account Managers with ad hoc tasks to meet client’s day to day needs

  • Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively relay information internally and externally and build trusting relationships
  • Able to produce high quality work within tight deadlines
