Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Content Lead to take ownership of the CryptoMonday brand, driving our content strategy and overall site performance. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire content lifecycle from ideation and production to publication and optimisation.

Your primary focus will be on creating compelling content tailored to the German market, alongside translating and adapting key pieces of content (including news). You will oversee the strategic planning and execution of content initiatives, including managing a content calendar, optimising user experience across the CryptoMonday site, and enhancing our presence on social media.

This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of content creation, management, SEO and the nuances of the German market. You will balance the creative aspects of content production with the analytical insights needed to boost user engagement, SEO performance, and overall site quality. As the Content Lead, you will additionally be responsible for ensuring that all content resonates with our German-speaking audience and aligns with the brand's vision and goals.

Key accountabilities

• Ownership of CryptoMonday Content and Performance:
  Use your own knowledge, research & analytical tools to identify gaps & Issues in content and drive the content strategy on CryptoMonday including production of content, ensuring it aligns with the brand’s vision and goals.
• Content Translation:
  Translate relevant news and evergreen content from Bankless Times to CryptoMonday, adapting it to appeal to the German market.
• Content Management:
  Research, plan and execute upon a content plan to ensure brand growth & maintenance.
• User Experience Optimisation:
  Provide recommendations to enhance user engagement and retention.
• Site Management:
  Ensure internal linking structures are maintained, and that sidebars and menus are regularly updated to reflect current content priorities.
• Social Media Management:
  Oversee CryptoMonday’s social media presence, including production ensuring content is regularly posted and optimised for engagement.

Requirements

• Language Proficiency:
  Native or fluent German speaker with exceptional written and spoken English skills.
• Translation Expertise:
  Proven experience in translating and localising content for German-speaking audiences, particularly in the crypto and fintech space.
• Content Strategy:
  Strong experience in content creation, strategy development, and execution, with a focus on audience engagement and SEO performance.
• User Experience Focus:
  Ability to provide actionable recommendations to improve site usability and overall user satisfaction.
• SEO Knowledge:
  A solid understanding of SEO best practices, particularly in content optimisation and internal linking strategies.
• Analytical Skills:
  Analytical mindset with ability to interpret site performance metrics, using data-driven decisions in order to improve content.
• Proactive Mindset:
  Ability to independently manage tasks, propose new ideas, and optimise processes to improve content production and site performance.
• Social Media Proficiency:
  Ability to manage social media accounts, particularly within the crypto industry.

Tool Expertise Required

• Translation Tools:
  Proficiency with translation software to ensure accurate and efficient content localisation.
• Content Management Systems (CMS):
  Experience with Wordpress and bespoke CMS platforms for publishing and managing content.
• Analytics Platforms:
  Competence with Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar platforms to track site performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Social Media Tools:
  Knowledge of social media management tools to allow for scheduling and analysing posts across X, Facebook,Telegram and LinkedIn.

  A meticulous approach to translation and content management, ensuring quality and accuracy at every step.

  Understanding of the nuances of the German market and the ability to tailor content to resonate with local audiences.

  Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with other departments, fostering a collaborative environment for content development.

  Capable of adjusting to the ever-changing landscape of the crypto industry and updating content and plans accordingly.

  Ability to proactively identify issues and recommend fixes, whether related to content, site performance or UX.

• £40,000 salary per annum, depending on experience
