Department Overview

ASTRO Engineering provides solutions for public safety communication systems compliant with the APCO-25 standard. Network Management team is responsible for provisioning, configuration and fault management of the ASTRO system. Our applications are entirely developed and tested in our R&D center in Krakow, using the Agile approach.

Job Description

In your manager role your goal would be to directly manage professionals on the team. You will be responsible for coaching, hiring and overseeing the technical direction for your team. As a leader, you will collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to ensure the optimal implementation of mission-critical systems.

Basic Requirements

• Experience in leading software development teams (2 years or more)
• Practical experience in developing moderate size software systems
• Technical background in software development in Java, preferably on-premise applications
• Very good understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Problem solver - able to work under minimal supervision
• Good verbal and written English communication.
