ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a new role created to play a key part in attracting and winning new business for the firm. Working closely with Partners, senior fee-earners, the wider Marketing team and external suppliers, it requires a combination of a business development mindset, creativity and project management skills to deliver effective sales and marketing material.

It carries a high degree of autonomy and involves collaborating closely with all service lines who will look for creative ideas, strategic input, a dynamic approach, and informed views, to provide effective BD support.

The work is fast paced and varied, brings an excellent opportunity to continue to learn and apply your business development skills, as well as to play a significant part in the future growth of the BD & Marketing function of the business.

WHAT MATTERS MOST IN THIS ROLE

You will be required to showcase your ability to focus on multiple projects simultaneously and work collaborative to meet strict deadlines. The role is split into four main areas:

Bid Management

Develop tailored fee proposals, submissions or presentations to clients and prospects by assisting with;

  • Writing, reviewing, proof reading and editing bid documentation
  • Production of bid documents, including working with design teams to enhance their visual impact
  • Develop and maintain corporate bid content including; partner bios, company credentials and case studies

Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Marketing team to write, edit and maintain sales collateral
  • Undertake external and internal research, and competitor intelligence to support client facing meetings and proposals
  • Support BD teams in managing their pipeline of leads and opportunities
  • Assist on other BD initiatives that drive new business

Marketing

  • Contribute to the development of content for various marketing channels including; web, social, PR and email
  • Support the creation of the firm's thought leadership material, sharing content, ideas and best practice to support the business development process
  • Work with the Events Group and client teams, on the successful delivery of client events
  • Input into the BD & Marketing planning process

Internal Communications

Play an active role in internal communication, using our internal platform, The Hub, to communicate Business Development news and activity, and as a source of intelligence and opportunity across the business.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

We’re seeking a confident and talented all-rounder, ideally with some experience of either real estate or professional services. You will develop a good knowledge and understanding of the real estate marketplace, our services and the competitor landscape.

The successful candidate will be proactive, with a 'can do' attitude, can work autonomously and within a team.

Excellent communications skills are required and a presence to collaborate with an influence senior fee-earners. A high degree of attention of detail is paramount.

Ideally you will have some experience of using CRM systems and bid management software to help you in the role.

Salary Range - £40,000 - £50,000
