Business Development Manager

Portfolio Management Research (PMR) is looking for a talented and driven business development manager to drive strategic new subscriptions to our platform. The role requires particular attention to a combination of inbound leads and structured outbound prospecting. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous B2B sales experience, who is looking to move into a pure business development role.

Responsibilities:

• Working from a database of warm leads to B2B clients globally
• Cold outreach (calls and emails) to accounts that could work with Portfolio Management Research
• Building rapport over the telephone with customers and organising a sale of research platform through a subscription basis
• Delivering demonstrations of the PMR platform
• Conducting face to face sales meetings with potential clients
• Managing admin and updating CRM at all times
• Ability to work solo and as part of a team
• Work towards revenue goals as well as additional KPI’s

Requirements

• Polite and assured telephone manner.
• Experience of working in a target driven environment.
• Good organisational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Sales experience in similar B2B environment (phone-based role).
• Experience in prospecting new contacts.
• Previous experience in/understanding of the Financial Services sector is advantageous.
