Samsung Semiconductor India Research (SSIR) is the largest R&D center of Samsung Semiconductor outside Korea. SSIR is setting up a new Product Development group in Memory Solution Team (MST) to build HW for the products like SSD, PSSD and Memory Cards. With this new capability, SSIR will have End to End ownership of many of the Samsung Memory products. The responsibility of this team is to deliver best HW and also to debug for any quality or customer issue.

Role and Responsibilities

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer at Samsung Semiconductor in Bengaluru. The Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring electromagnetic interference (EMI) compliance in all Samsung Semiconductor SSD products. This will involve working with test equipment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. SSD EMI/ESD/RF Simulation, Measurement, Analysis, Optimization

Skills and Qualifications

• Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field
• Expertise in Electromagnetic Compatibility and EMI
• Experience with troubleshooting and testing
• Experience with test equipment and software such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulations.
• Use of EMC-related modeling and simulation tools (HFSS, CST)
• Knowledge of international EMC standards such as FCC, CISPR, and IEC
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus
