IT - Cloud Admin Engineering Manager

What you will do

As part of the IT Engineering team, you’ll work closely with different departments across the Samsung Ads organization to understand the needs and deploy tooling and automation to solve these asks.

You should be someone who is passionate about self-service capabilities, automation and reducing the time it takes to manage the systems that support the business. You also have the opportunity to identify technology gaps and propose innovative solutions to close that gap.

You will work with some incredibly talented and passionate developers with a solid technical background to bring products and services to a market with unique technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple vendor products and relationships ensuring support for running the business across Samsung Ads
• Leverage and develop automation tools to empower users with self-serve capabilities
• Act as a subject matter expert for the challenges of infrastructure and IT operations
• Contribute to developing runbooks, keep disaster recovery plans up to date, and run fire drills
• Test implemented solutions and respect other non-functional requirements
• Empower IT operations with on-boarding and off-boarding automation
• Develop integrations between our internal tools
• Conceptualize and models user directory and permission schemes
• Partner with security teams to ensure security & compliance across our IT Solutions and users
• Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks, deployments, and configuration management
• Create metric based performance monitoring and be report those out and upward for visibility
• Support Cloud Administration with AWS like Workspaces and other functionality

Required Skills And Experience

• Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields. Minimum 4+ years of industry experience with a Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields such as Statistics, Data Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

• A strong understanding of computer hardware and systems (operating systems, business systems, networking, automations)

• A strong understanding of business systems architecture, design and implementation

• Experience in leading multiple implementations of business and IT systems in a geographically distributed context

• Experience handling projects independently and efficiently, collaborating with multiple teams

• Highly organized and adept at managing priorities and multitasking

• Ability to navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility, collaboration, resourcefulness, and positive attitude are the keys to success in this role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships

• Provide all levels of IT support to the users. Leading investigations/troubleshooting when a problem does not yet have known mitigations or solutions, including hardware, software or configuration issues

• ​​Advanced Atlassian Jira/Confluence experience

• Advanced Okta / SSO Knowledge

• Advanced Google Workspace experience

• Agile Operation experience (Kanban)

• Strong knowledge of helpdesk ticketing systems, ITIL framework, and best practices

• Excellent communication skills in English is essential

• Fluency in Korean is a plus

Compensation for this role is expected to be between $170,000 and $205,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in

the role.
