The Role:

Do you live and breathe Youtube? Do you know what it takes to create highly engaging shortform Youtube content? Can you stop someone's scroll in its tracks? As a Social Content Creator focused on our Youtube Clips network you’ll spend your time identifying, editing, and posting clips from conversations from The Diary of a CEO that will spark conversation, be far reaching, and ultimately lead to growth of our Clips channel. You’ll create the thumbnails that drive clicks, and recognise great stories that fit today’s social trends and conversation, all while continually finding ways to experiment and improve our output clips and thumbnails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify great topics and themes for Youtube clips from our library of original longform episodes
  • Edit engaging clips and content for Youtube and other social platforms including trimming footage, adding transitions, basic graphics, sound effects, and dynamic subtitles
  • Design social first thumbnails that grab attention, driving clicks and views to your clips
  • Manage and organise a large library of clips to easily identify what topics and guests we have available to create clips from
  • Track daily social trends and hot topics and leverage the library to create reactive clips in real time
  • Post to Youtube, manage the channel, and analyse data to drive informed decision making
  • Stay up to date with current trends/best practices across Youtube and other social platforms

Requirements

Must Haves:

  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing and design software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop

  • Live and breathe Youtube and social trends

  • Great understanding of design principles and eye catching design, with an ability to combine the two

  • Understanding of data analysis and data informed decision making

  • Strong attention to deadlines and schedules

  • Growth hacker mindset, driving growth through innovation and experimentation

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment while consistently exemplifying our culture and values

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively, which can regularly require working outside of Monday-Friday

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
