**Job Description Summary

The Strategic Transaction Manager (STM) is the primary parts fulfillment order manager for key North America complex projects parts fulfillment needs. In this role you will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop internal & external customer relationships, take ownership of wing-to-wing parts fulfillment deliverables, and affect short and long-term business goals. The STM would also focus on delivering key parts fulfillment metrics including on-time-delivery (OTD) & escaping defects.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

• Serve as customer fulfillment owner for Conversion, Modification & Upgrades (CM&U) and Eng Flow parts orders.
• Act as primary point of contact for both external & internal customers on all CM&U and Eng Flow orders to meet wing-to-wing fulfillment needs and customer deadlines
• Drive customer service excellence by enhancing internal and external customer relationships
• Drive fulfillment processes across critical cross-functional teams to support customer delivery expectations (including Engineering, Sourcing, Pricing, Logistics & Distribution (Warehouses, Factories, Commercial and Field Teams).
• Understand affected order management key performance indicators (KPI) as critical measures of parts fulfillment excellence including, but not limited to, order OTD performance.
• Quote, coordinate, communicate, and execute the shipment of goods from international locations to customers sites. Includes obtaining at least 2-3 quotes from various carriers; articulating value and obtaining business approval for spend, depending on cost per kilogram. Award bids, understand status updates, and follow through until goods are delivered to site
• Provide timely support and resolution of assigned orders through successful execution of order delivery
• Drive operating rhythm around fulfillment metrics including customer pacing and status update calls
• Work quickly, accurately, and effectively to resolve customer issues to mitigate resulting escalations
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for regional business processes
• Support financial transactions with regards to sales credit/ RMAs, receivables, and collections
• Expedite material through sourcing to meet customer needs and business goals
• Assume complete ownership of associated orders, documentation & overall order data quality/accuracy
• Proactively partner with engineering/sourcing on early identification & resolution of undefined lines

Qualifications/Requirements:

• BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, or parts fulfillment position

Desired Characteristics :

• Green Belt or Black Belt certification/ LEAN experience (GE employees only)
• Project management experience
• Familiarity with the Energy industry
• Ability to establish priorities and initiate pro-active problem solving
• Ability to work with multiple & competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teaming skills - "can do" attitude & able to work effectively across matrixed organization
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
• Knowledge of/ proficient in Oracle ERP & other Siebel-based software
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
• Self-starter with ability to achieve results under minimal supervision & attention to detail
• Strong process mindset with demonstrated track record

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 41,064.00 - 51,330.00 - 61,596.00 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a variable performance bonus of 12.5%
