Application Support Engineer

Mō te tūranga | About the Role
As an Application Support Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting the operational environment for the Balance Sheet Services and Securitization streams at Westpac. This includes daily operations of the High-Performance Computing solution used to measure, report, and analyze Balance Sheet Risk outcomes: Interest Rate Risk, Transfer Pricing, Cost of Funds and Hedge Accounting

• Preference for candidates with interest in developing skills within one or more of Control-M, SQL Scripting, QRM Manager, SharePoint, Power Platform, Azure DevOps, Dynatrace, PagerDuty, Splunk, Chef, Hashicorp Vault
• Fantastic documentation skills
• Interest in, and or knowledge of Agile ways of working.Interest in financial systems and processes
• Knowledge of of ITSM processes such as Incident, problem, change
• Ability to learn and pick things up quickly.

• Positive One Team attitude.
