Position Summary:

The DI Data Analyst will be responsible for performing analysis, reporting and visualization to support decisions to support Partner Organizations and Integrations within the firm. He/she will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data visualizations and using Data to forecast or guide business activity. The ideal candidate will have the curiosity and skills to investigate the data from multiple angles, conduct research, and identify trends while partnering with colleagues to match data from multiple resources to make recommendations.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards, generating reports, preparing data visualizations, and using data to forecast or guide business activity.
  • ·Collaborating with colleagues for the purpose of collecting and structuring data.

  • ·Collect, audit, compile, and validate data from multiple sources.

  • ·Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques or relational databases and produce ongoing as-needed reports to meet client and/or business needs.

  • Communicate internally and with clients externally to collect and validate data as well as answer questions regarding reports and data.
  • Works on complex projects of large scope.
  • Build automation and additional efficiencies into manual reporting efforts.
  • Helps implement new practices, processes and procedures.
  • Create ad-hoc data sets through graphs, tables and other visuals based upon business requests.

Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, equivalent years’ experience considered.

  • At least three years of data related or analytical work experience.

  • ·Basic to intermediate experience with SQL queries, with MS SQL server database experience.

  • Experience Power Automate & Power Apps experience preferred.

  • ·Insurance industry experience preferred.

  • MS Azure skills preferred including some experience in Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Power BI or equivalent.

  • Ability to grasp database structures and understand the underlying relationships and dependencies.

  • Comfortable compiling data integration from multiple sources; performing quality control on data sets; identifying and scrutinizing anomalies and/or outliers in the data; ability to manipulate data and complete required analysis

  • MS Office skills including intermediate skills in Excel with the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets, to include v-look-ups, pivot tables, formulas, charts and graphing.
