Warehousing & Distribution Operations Excellence Analyst CEE

About the role

As a Warehousing and Distribution Operations Excellence Analyst you will be ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our logistics and supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will span various areas focusing on performing and optimizing regular/operational tasks across all warehouses locations, including purchase to pay process, approvals, financial reconciliation with logistic suppliers, master data management, systems, inventory reconciliation, and process optimization (like inbound improvement).

You will work closely with other members of the W&D CEE team and collaborate with cross-functional teams across different countries to enhance operational efficiency and drive excellence.

Role Responsibilities

Operational:

  • Deliver best in class purchase to pay process across CEE for W&D costs, streamline and harmonize associated activities, secure necessary approvals, track and ensure financial reconciliation with logistics suppliers, manage cost allocation.
  • Ensure robust inventory reconciliation process through regular checks of physical inventory against system records, discrepancies investigation and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Deliver accurate and up-to-date master data related to inventory, suppliers, warehouse operations. Provide W&D volume and cost data for related optimization projects.

Optimization:

  • Identify efficiencies and harmonize operational processes cross markets linked to inbound improvements and 4PL (e.g. on time arrival, booking slots, documents availability among others).
  • Analyse operational data and leverage KPIs to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, review and digitalize the reporting tools to facilitate business reviews and decision taking.

Process and system expert:

  • Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS), interfaces, ERP and other relevant internal/external tools to optimize operations and contribute to other logistics projects.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Secure processes standardization and adherence.
  • Engage in systems/tools deployment and upgrades.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Deep understanding of warehouse and distribution operations, including familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics technologies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Fluent English language skills and fluent in one of the local languages (Poland, Hungarian, Czech, Romanian or Greek).
  • Operational experience in SAP.
  • Proven experience in change management.
  • Mature business understanding, perspectives, and knowledge of industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Problem solving skills, ability to work in a highly complex environment.
  • Project management experience with the capability to lead and implement transformative initiatives.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and comfortable with delegated responsibility.
  • Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders and drive decision-making.

Location: Warsaw, Budapest, Prague, Bucharest or Athens
