As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a key role in fueling Natterbox’s growth by identifying, qualifying, and generating leads for our sales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with only a few years experience to kickstart their career in sales.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential customers and key decision-makers using platforms such as Salesforce, LinkedIn, Cognism and other industry tools
- Conduct outbound prospecting activities including cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach to generate leads
- Qualify inbound leads by understanding their business needs and aligning them with Natterbox’s solutions
- Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to refine lead generation strategies and improve outreach effectiveness
- Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities and communications in Salesforce
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets for lead generation and outreach efforts
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 0–2 years of professional experience in sales, customer service, or a related role (sales internships or relevant part-time work is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with prospects
- A passion for technology and SaaS solutions, with a desire to grow in sales
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Salesforce and LinkedIn for prospecting is highly desirable
